The Gamma Apex doesn’t do anything in this mission, so just ignore it.

This mission...isn’t terribly hard, but it’s just very grindy due to the mismatch between the Shield Breaker weapon of Njörun’s Wave cannons against armored invaders. Moreover, many of the waves are incredibly thick and heavy, making this mission a real slog. Not to mention, the lack of lasers mean Personal Shield becomes completely useless other than minor bullet defence, which ends up being completely unnecessary if you are somewhat speedrunning this mission. This mission just ends up being RNG on how often you can land the wave cannons on the cockpit of invaders.
