Think this vid may have saved me quite a potential future ball ache. This vid made me check if my switch was set to gaming or not, and it was indeed NOT. Buuut..
Just because of this little interaction I noticed one my my CPU cooler pump pipes were resting eerily close to the back of the GPU (the bare bits). It was in fact rubbing against it with quite a bit of force. The PC had been on for many hours at this point, and the pipe was actually very hot and seemed kiiiinda melty? (been running this rig for about a month).
All of this because I decided to slightly move my pump to fit another fan when I got this rig. So glad I caught it now, and not when a potential disaster might have happened. Cheers!

Bios switch is for fan curve, performance is what it is (+/-1%) Shame about the length of the card, 320mm would be plenty long enough (I would say that my case's handbook says that GPU's up to 320mm can be fitted, some creativity with front fan position and it'll squeeze in tho') I think this cards chances were hurt by Nvidia's naming it a 4080. This is most definitely a 1440p card, it's good enough at this resolution for high refresh rate gaming, not sure if it really warrants the Ti branding, I'd hope that the Ti would get closer to 160fps whatever you throw at it (RTS ON DLSS 3 ON) I have been waiting for a card with this level of performance that I could afford.
