Writing My Friends Victorian Letters

I've always dreamed of getting an old fashioned Victorian letter in the mail, so why not make it happen for my friends? Complete with tea dyed paper, diy wax seals, envelopes, stickers, botanical paintings, and pressed flowers.

Tbh I watch too many penpal and snail mail videos, which has led me here. A lot of the ones I see require supplies that I just do not have, so I decided to do a hopefully inexpensive version with things I already have.

"How much can I fit into 1 envelope so I only have to use 1 stamp?" Story of my life when I got into penpalling and had to learn about envelope sizes and thickness and stamps and all that jazz.

As someone who penpals a lot, I can 100% tell you that letters with effort are SO much more appreciated and exciting to receive than letters with a bunch of washi tape and stickers on them to replace creativity and effort. Your letter was absolutely amazing.

This video did bring a tear to my eye. I am quiet old and I loved writing letters to my friends, I put in so much effort. Now I do it for fun sometimes, but I breaks my heart how most youngsters don't know the joy of writing a beautiful letter. I loved your video, it made me remember my old pen pal who liked making such beautiful letters. He passed away many years ago, but he will always be in my heart. Thank you for bringing back happy memories, keep doing what your doing, your friends are lucky to have a friend like you!
