Dallas police chief fires 2 sergeants, suspends 1 in discipline hearings

An officer who lies or gives false testimony should be immediately fired and have their certification revoked. Their position as officers allows for their testimony to be treated the same as real evidence in some cases, and judges and juries take their word over other people's in court. There is no place in law enforcement for a liar; the stakes are too high. Law enforcement must take their positions seriously and do the job properly.
