The greatest Olympian would never be somebody who's success is defined by a team sport. For example, swimmers and track athletes that are part of a relay team also do solo events. Kevin Durant is only part of a team game and without some sort of independent solo events, you would never be able to define success the way those athletes do.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but my respect level for KD has increased. Not just KD but many players but primarily him LBJ and SC. I have not been a fan of KD since his move to GS, but he LBJ and SC were equally relied upon and all three delivered. LBJ the clear leader and best player, SC with the most dazzling moments, and KD got the easy money when easy money was needed. We need to put major respect on all 3 names.
