Eddie is still alive (as we see him in new york at the end of the movie)... but anyways the most likely way of knull's defeat would be Dylan (venom's son) teaming up with venom as its confirmed that dylan is at the level of knull or even stronger and that is also one of the ways that knull was defeated

Nah, I agree with everyone hope it isn’t. As we all know venom didn’t really bond with Peter and Peter himself becomes the anti venom so in a sense Peter will be the next host but he won’t be compatible like Eddie and venom.
Come on marvel keep it going just like the comics. Keep stan lee alive within thoughts and through his previous ideas. Such as, bringing the multiverse and all other possibilities that comes with infinite universes. See why marvel have done this tho, so they can make as many films as they can. It’s the multiverse so come on there’s gonna be thousands more films to come I hope. Hopefully within the next 60 years

We can see sentry in mcu and we can see knull in sony i think knull needs the symbiotic codex of venom to get out of the clintar and knull's origin would be like in the comics but there will be a slight change that knull wanted to rule the whole multiverse and to stop knull the cosmic power, enigma force bonds with a host and traps knull barely and they were fighting in mcu but knull kills the host of the enigma force not directly but by controlling a person by giving him a part of his necrosword and it was the first wielder of the necrosword and in mcu this necrosword first corrupts and kills his first owner and goes to the second and it becomes a cycle till it goes to gorr and we know about the else of the story of the love and thunder but the universe in which enigma force trapped knull after breaking his hive mind was venom's universe and all the symbiotes got independence and some decided to travel the multiverse so that they could gain knowledge and powers to defeat other threats but venom was the first symbiote to travel from his universe to mcu and then again return to mcu and that's the codex of venom present in eddie is the most valuable for knull but the problem is he cannot go and take the symbiotic codex from him so he created xenophages who were less in number but are more perfect than any symbiote and by using xenophages army only he got the codex of all the other symbiotes but after getting the codex of venom he wouldn't only just break his prison but also will start to control other symbiotes and could even do multiversal travel but i think before reaching to mcu and i think the 4 other symbiotes or should i say hybrid is supporting knull without even being in the hive mind because of their want for power and toxin would help venom to fight hybrid and other xenophages but atlast we are going to see knull breaking free and finding eddie brock for his son dillon brock who have some same power as knull, because after breaking the prison he would gain the knowledge of the existence of dillon and for the sake of multiverse afraidness and Eddie's son venom would enter the mcu timeline and knull and his symbiotic army with xenophages would be in another part of the universe and venom would be in another part meaning earth where in this process venom and eddie would separate eddie would think everything is over and try to start his life again with dillon and venom would find peter but peter would leave him after knowing that venom is a living being and then venom would again find eddie bond with him with him and tell him nothing is over but here is a miss part do you remember the venom part which he left in mcu (the military got it because i think they were actually there to capture venom but because they came in venom's range they also travelled the multiverse and because of this unknown phenomenon they aborted the mission of capturing venom at that time but followed him and later found the piece of venom and took it back to venom's universe but after xenophages attacking the military symbiote facility the venom's part also escaped with most of the other symbiote and wanted to find the main venom body and in that journey it reached the mcu but it had been in another part of the earth where it fuses with dying harry regenerates him and with the power of mr negative it becomes anti venom and it fights venom as it comes in control of knull and eventually knull gets the location of earth and everything happens like in the king in black comics also the military was capturing all the symbiotes because they thought everyone of them of the species is like carnage also to kill the hybrid symbiote and destroy the xenophages army toxin sacrifices himself but it was late and codex was transferred to knull of both venom and toxin but still a small part of toxin remains in eddie brock which leaves him as soon as eddie reaches mcu because they were not a perfect match )

Spiderman and the symbiote never died like venom and Brock did, but big butts here but spiderman did almost die in spiderman 3 so idk if that would count or not since spiderman didn't die how will he have the codex unless he died in another reality with a symbiote attached to him.
