I hope they won't be releasing many more characters like Jiyan and Jinhsi but more like Changli. It's more than help with skill issue. They trivialize the gameplay and whole design of complex mechanics. Parrying is one of the most important mechanics, making it ridiculously easy with those two characters, while at the same time they are great in other aspects as well it's very bad. I can accept such characters for those who want to play with heavy skill issue, but only as exceptions. WuWa's gameplay aint that deep at the end of the day really. We need more complexity, not less.

Baizhi, once you slap some HP echoes on her with the bell turtle echo she can literally tank some of the strongest boss moves in the game. She is also a healer, only thing that counters her tankiness is the Mourning Aix debuff.

Once people start investing in supports, they will realize she makes contents quite forgiving as long as you swap to her during dangerous boss moves.

I think rover should be on the list. He is a character is quite easy to use. Havoc rover does high dps without requiring much skill to use and their spectro form is also great as it can slow down time with their outro and their sequence has healing. Bonus if you use Jinshi with them as they reduce spectro resistance. That's pretty good for being free.

For open world yes but for the harder content, no character makes it easier. The forte bar is designed to have more button presses to get the desired effect than just press button once and you get a shield for example. This alone can be fatal in higher content. eg taoqi and jianxin could be interrupted thus losing the ability to gain a shield and get whacked by more higher level enemies etc
All in all still have to learn enemy movesets and the timing to do rotation etc, as in doing higher level content like hologram bosses etc
