Nor did I say that, he said it was wrong to call the Pharisees anything as they were corrupt and lacked humility. His words were directed at them, and people who act like them.

If we were to take Jesus' words literally, that would also mean the Parental term "Father" would be out of bounds, so I instead opt for the nuanced position Jesus clearly intended there.
