It took me 34 1/2 hours to get home to Tucson, Arizona from Portland, Oregon. No, I wasn’t driving. I was flying. (It took less time to fly to Thailand!) And we kept hitting inclement weather. I flew from Portland to Salt Lake City, Utah then missed my connecting flight to Tucson. After spending the night there my options to get to Tucson were to
1. Fly to Seattle, Washington then to Tucson
2. Fly to Las Vegas then to LA then to Tucson
3. Fly to LA then to Tucson

I chose door number 3 although it was a later afternoon flight.

I made it to LA then my connecting flight was delayed… delayed… delayed again.

Then the flight was overbooked.

Then we were crammed onto a smaller aircraft.

And we waited… and waited… and waited on the runway.

I tried to have a positive attitude but at this point I was just OVER it and almost cried.

But I finally made it HOME.

What are your nightmare flying stories?

I do not know how you do it. From Perth to Singapore is 5 1/2 hrs. From Singapore to Koh Samui is 1 1/2 hrs. I should have been in Koh Samui by 2.30pm. But my son clicked the wrong key, and it cost me a day of my holiday. Honey, I am so sorry I do not have the patience. You looked so tired. I felt so sorry for you. I was lost. I did not know what to think. The last i heard from you, when you were in Salt Lake City. You have done enough of running around. Sleep in tomorrow and just relax. Today I was looking at which planes go directly to Koh Samui from Perth. When ever I went to Phuket. I was at my resort by 2.30pm. But this time it was a disaster. I am glad you have reached safely. Take care, Stay safe . You are the best. I have sent you kim, 2, or 3 emails. When you have the time. Have a quick glance at them.
