As a republican I actually love the show veep, Id say it satirizes the insanity and sliminess of the left extremely well. The writers for that show were hilarious and The Thick of It was also very good. Ironic how actors love to play dress up and then think their roles are real though, like Alec Baldwin being extremely left wing, but loves to play dress up as a western, then in typical leftist fashion ends up killing one of his collogues because he doesnt know gun safety.
