Now there is a person who is LIVING her life. How many of us are going to die never even seeing the country we live in, much less the world. I envy her. I spend my life working to pay bills. Sigh.

As a South African Brown women I'm now living in the Netherlands and honestly this country is sooo chill no one is touching my hair to check if it's real no one is constantly labeling me into a racial group. Im a nanny to a little 6 year old girl who is white blue eyed blonde haird and I travel with her often no one ever comes up to us to ask weird questions or looks at us weird. I feel like sometimes the countries that colonised other countries are socially ahead of alot of those colonised countries because once they left they were just going back home but left those countries with hate...and it shows to this day

I love how brave and daring you are in the midst of ignorance and moral repulsiveness! Keep going forward with your life and goals!

The most racism I experienced was traveling to Australia at the immigration check. I was flying from Tokyo to Melbourne and had 1 stop in Cairns, Australia. The first worker look at my passport flipped through it while looking at me several times and told me to go to step to the side. Then 3 other immigration agents came to me asking me a million questions like “Who payed for my trip? How did I pay for my trip? Why do I travel to so many places in a short span of time?” They asked about my tattoos meanings and EVEN WENT THRU MY PHONE! Within like a span of 3 weeks I had gone from Texas (where I lived) to Paris, then Hong Kong, then Seoul to Tokyo and then Australia. I had NEVER experienced that type of racism/profiling like that while traveling..

What the hell! I’m so surprised that not one black woman has ever travelled the entire world! I thought that was already done. As a kid that’s always been something I’ve wanted to do but I always figured someone else already did it so I gave up. She’s an inspiration too all blacks out especially women. I’m behind you all the way!

The question is, will more Africans traveling the world make the world like them more or dislike them more?

If we last long enough we will all become some kinda lightish brown colour anyway, then we will just do it by net worth.

Maybe you should spend a couple of years in Italy, to see what racism really is.
