Mercedes-Benz X-Class Review | Luxury Off-Road Adventure

Legendary 4x4 driver (cough) Howard Ritchie borrows a Mercedes-Benz X-Class pick up for this episode and takes it both on and off road.

Boasting a modest 187bhp, the X-Class 250d comes with its own Automatic Assistance function which was originally in all BMWs, activated by a "call" button.

Standard equipment is good, although things like running boards, roof rails and better LED lights come in a package which adds around £100 per month to any existing monthly lease price. This is because options are added to the overall cost and split across the term of the lease.

Unlike the LS200, the Nissan Navara and the Ford Ranger for example, the X Class is designed to be a first of its kind for Mercedes.

The genius of Howard. "...even me. And I don't even own a drill." That is pure "Howardism" at it's best.

In fact, Howard is so damn bloody good at doing car reviews, I now believe he's too good even for TopGear and the BBC. They can both **** off for all I care.
Howard and a couple others (One being YouTuber PetrolPed!) should set up their own Motoring TV show and show the BBC what they don't know. Great British Motoring Show presenters.

Great review, course looks amazing and you showed the X-Class is capable rather than being all glamour, but can't believe you reversed at 2:40 instead of powering over it in 4WD 😂
