gale being able to hold his own vs marksmen isnt even because of his super, its the fact that with the freezing snow star power, all it takes is you landing ONE projectile on the marksman and that just makes them too slow to run away, which lets you hit them with all your other subsequent attacks, so if ur a marksman and you dont have a brock gadget or piper super etc. if gale hits you once, ur as good as dead

So I’m just gonna say it: The jump pad gadget is really good for getting you & your teammates back to the center of the map after death.

It helps with jumping over walls near the beginning that really get in your way without having to destroy them in the case of Brawl Ball & other sport oriented matches.

To think twister used to last 10 secs and his jump pad used to launch you 12 tiles, granting you instant map control. Not only that, blustery blow used to last 1.5 secs and his super charge rate was faster, allowing you to stunlock people.

i feel like his main attack is designed to throw people off. it's 6 projectiles next to each other, shot at the same time so your instinctively expect a shotgunner style attack where the further away you are the less damage you deal. but no this old man hit your ass with 3 balls regardless if he's shoving them in your face or he's 8 tiles away. and he probably slows you every time he does it and he has a ridiculous reload speed so good luck

I thought I was crazy for thinking that people pick or play gale, not expressly because he's fun, or intracate, but more because he makes anyone who plays against him suffer, but now I feel validated in my opinion, and have reason to think so! Honestly he woudl be like WAY less annoying if they nerfed his range by 0.75 tiles(or removed him from existence)
