People like this woman really settle the delusional fear of aging. Most of us mellow as we age, sure. Many lose their need to impress. Though I'm watching many grow vanilla as they age...
But I see just go with the flow and I see you can age gracefully and you don't have to compromise on your self expression, exploration and playful attitude if it still serves you

Love your photos and your style, like me! Where I live no markets exist to purchase aprons- well actually, nothing much. I can sew but currently am in severe depression and I get up as I am married and have pets to look after but I live for going back to bed- my only true happiness comes from the music of Leonard Cohen who if you haven't dug dig him. Sadly he is now singing on another plane but if you listen with a heart like mine or yours, you can faintly pick up his wave length. Like us he was a free spirit. Namaste Z.

I so agree with her, specially those people who wear the long heels, uncomfortable doesn't look sexy to me. What is sexy about a waddle ? Real is attractive.

One day, we will all just be considered humans who have a certain style, and nobody will feel that the word "age" in any form needs to be added to the story simply because the person isn't in their 20s or 30s. Just...STYLE...which humans can have for their whole life. And there are so many people alive on earth who aren't in their 20s or 30s. One day the need to add "ageless" will go the way of "woman" artist or "woman" writer.

I notice that a lot of the beautiful and iconic older ladies in this series have had "holocaust" stories. I wonder if this is what has given them the strength and determination to not "cower: to mediocrity and to be themselves . Character is often built on these tragic beginnings. I went to school in N.Y. in the Fashion Industry and knew many Jews who had suffered in Europe and who were exiled. I worked for them and went to school with their children. Europe's loss was America's creative gain.
