I love this, I only just found this channel but I been saying this for years. I'm not "in the business", I work in Healthcare, but I have eyes and I tell my family and friends all the time you have to take those rose colored glasses off when you buy a home and look harder! If you want something done right you gotta do it yourself or pay someone who knows to watch the people doing the work like a hawk. Don't skimp on inspectors!

Wasting money on new construction home, period. and exclamation mark! Because new homes aren’t worth their prices! Inspection on any and every home is never a waste of money, including tear-downs!

Never use the company’s inspectors!!!! They will lie and tell you the home is safe and secure and it is not. Use an outside inspector if you ever plan to buy NC. Those houses are not worth the headache in the long run.

That goes to show the builder did not properly walk the home prior to closing. Or. Probably couldn’t schedule the trade responsible to come back in time enough, so they left it as it is just to put it on a 30 or 60 day warranty. Seen that plenty of times where the builder will have lingering punch items instead of pushing to get them knocked out prior to closing pending how small they are. They will just leave them and come back and access it as a warranty.

I went to a first time home buyer workshop. One couple in attendance was so excited to buy a new construction home. I couldn't contain my laughter. Even as a first time home buyer, you couldn't pay me to buy a new construction home.

I like how he says they know what they doing. Lol as a superintendent for a new construction builder, ots a bunch of guys that hardly dpeak english work on a house for 6 months and its up to the superintendent to catch the mistakes. Thats it

You know it's bad work when even the home inspector is saying the home inspection is a waste of money lol. Anybody could see those issues without any building experience and that's just sad. Builders are ripping people off and not even trying to hide it. I don't think they'll quit doing it until people quit paying but we know that won't happen. Everyone wants a big new fancy house. Can you imagine the issues these houses will have 50 years from now?
