Understanding L2 VPNs in MPLS

MPLS is a technology that is able to "carry" a multitude of traffic types. Until now, we've focused on the transport of IP traffic. In this video, we'll focus on how MPLS can be used to transport Layer 2 technologies. These include Ethernet, Frame Relay, ATM, PPP, and HDLC to name a few.

There are various ways to implement Layer 2 over MPLS, and we'll talk about the most common ones including VPLS, EoMPLS, EVPN and AToM.
