a mix of both. food that actually doesn't apply to western language have their own names for a reason. some might call it cake, some might call it a cookie/biscuit/scone/etc- but what we need in this case: is calling it by it's actual name.

I think it really depends on how much buttercream you put in the middle!
In my country, we have a lot of small pastries with fruity, jelly-like fillings, but because the filling is only a thin layer (usually not thicker than 1 cm), it's still considered a cookie. Otherwise it'd probably called a small cake (a tart? Maybe that's a more general term than what I'm trying to say haha)!

I love Silvanas!!! 🤤🤤🤤 Seriously so addictive, and for someone who doesn’t like whole nuts, this is a wonderful alternative to Sans Rival.

In Dumaguete and the Cebu branch, they have assorted flavour in one box. It comes of two flavours of the your picks of the original butter filling, strawberry, chocolate, and the green one(forgot what flavour is that, its either avocado or matcha). Its been a year snice I ate silvanas because my taste buds is over the taste(nasawa na) plus Dumaguete is a 1 hr travel from ours.

Can these be sent to the States from where your at if purchased thru the store that sells them ? I live in a nursing home and two of my better nurses that watch over me are from the Philippines ! It would be a treat to thank them with a homeland treat
