Glad I found your channel. I have dabbled in radio restoration and plan on doing more. With the help of your channel I believe I will have an easier time. I will be helping with an auction our club is having in March of a LOT of Hallicrafters gear and will be on the lookout for a couple of the radios you mentioned. It would be great to have something to work on that is the same model you are covering. Thanks for the series.

Hi. I just fall on this YouTube channel and listening on what you have to say about repairing old radio and honestly I become more and more interesting on the subject. I own a "Grundow super teledial" that belonged to my grandfather and I would love to restore it while I am retired. I fixed it once, it is still working but it needs an overall restauration meaning the wires isolation is falling apart and capacitors are of the original. I think your videos are going to help. Thanks

Just stumbled across this. I'd love to see more. You are an excellent teacher! I'm hoping to restore a Hallicrafter SX-100 and a NC183D. I feel like I'm a bit over my head but maybe with your instruction it can happen.

Just happened across your youtube video while looking for info on aligning my old Hallicrafters 5R10A. Its working. I have recapped it and want to to tune it up a bit more. It was my folks radio from the 50's. Like you, I used it as a kid to listen to stations all over the world- but mostly KOMA in Oklahoma City for old rock and roll! Your goal is exactly what I'm considering... I'd love to make this a hobby! I'm retired now and I'm wanting to do it on a budget too! Sounds like a good fit. Looking forward to working with you.
