Why do modders like to use over exaggerated DOF and Bokeh effects? Feel like Rubbing my eyes to make it clearer. But a nice looking mod

this game can still look better with most games today. I really wish they all put this much detail and care into every game.
It was so easy to mod and edit too, and still played smooth at fairly low frame rates which at the time of release was hardly any computer.

It's been 7 years since I last played Crysis, I used to use Extreme mod and modified the game engine to allow for an incredible slow motion/turbo function with an extended charge on the suit that combined to create incredible jumps and attack maneuvers - I used to spend half my time jumping off the cliff at the start and literally landing in the middle of the ocean and running, jumping of rocks and charging in with the slow mo turbo into a mass of soldiers. If I only saved my work I would be releasing it now, but alas I can't even remember how I did it!

I miss these days. I have great memories of finally after a year of searching, getting a job, saving up and buying a PC that could run Crysis.
Went in to work tired as fuck the next day, stayed up all night setting the PC up and playing. Couldn't believe how much better than my ps3 it was.

We seriously need more people supporting Crysis multiplayer. IMHO the powerstruggle gamemode was and still is genius, dunno why no other game sought to reimagine this.

My Laptop is too bad to play this video in 720p. Guess I gotta stick to good old 480p .
