Claremont was amazing and Tony was a star. So cool that I got to run into him. I did see a bunch of books that I could never dream of having. I saw a $5 silver age bin in passing and was hoping to dig into it, but I couldn't find when it was finally comic time. Oh well, I got like 15 prints so my money was well spent.

Klaus Janson inked EVERY book ever done. Bob Layton looked like a drill sergeant. Cool you got Spidey 36 signed with a little sketch. They werent giving away a walking dead #1 reprint?

That's so cool you got to go number 1 but you getting Romita and Klaus to sign that daredevil 189 and that Tod McFarlane Batman is pretty sweet for 3 bucks you stole that. Can't wait to see your prints video.

LMAO man . Like that Robocop shirt. WOW you met Chris Claremont. That is amazing man. Sounds like an incredible experience. I would have stayed there until he chased me away.

It was truly a pleasure to meet you buddy. Definitely one of the highlights for me. Oh man. I wonder how long we can ride this Buckler thing out! :D

You should've had an earpiece with radio-wave capability, I could've been feeding you lines when you met Claremont. For example:
"In issue 247 of Uncanny X-Men, you introduced a plot-device that eluded to themes from Victor Turner's early 20th century observations of tribal rituals, and how these 'rites of passage' can facilitate social and psychological growth. Did you consciously use the template of this ritual process, as described by Turner, for character development?"
Conversational gold.

Apparently. I actually had more I thought of bringing with me but I had to leave some behind. Yeah, Layton was a little intimidating. I'm so excited that I got that Spidey signed by everyone. So cool! I'm sure I missed a ton of NYCC exclusives, I didn't do a good job of hunting that stuff down.

Haha. See that's why I don't get all worked up about meeting these guys, cause I'm sure most of them don't remember half the stuff the fans do. Except Claremont cause he's a master.

You got some really nice signatures there man! I met Alex Saviuk at last year's Motor City Comic Con and I had to school him a little bit on his own career. So don't feel bad about not knowing what he did. I really want to meet Chris Claremont now... Great video my friend I can't wait to see your prints and sketches.

I have some footage from my GoPro when I was walking around Artist Alley, but we didn't stop to shoot anything for YouTube. We were too busy living in the moment I guess :D

I am not good sir. I'm on the East Coast so usually I'm only guaranteed to go to Boston and maybe New York. For now anyways.

Great stuff man. Just the Claremont meeting and signature alone was worth the trip for you. Great that you met Ynotart! Did you happen to check out any of those books that we could never afford like the early Superman and Batman? I am always surprised by the 5 and 7 dollar bins. You can pick up some good stuff there.
