Fitbit was great had several and the App worked well. The last Google updated fried the device. Google is not doing anything to help The Fitbit customer. Guess they everyone will just go buy their Pixel watch. Way to knock out competition. Looking at a Garmin now

I will never own another Fitbit. They are junk and apparently there is no fix. Doing everything that’s suggested on the forums doesn’t work, and everyone agrees. The last 3 Charge 5’s magically go from 100% battery to dead in a few hours. Seems this happens at about the one year mark. Battery will last for about 5-6 days, then boom the battery drain issue hits. Once that happens you might as well throw it in the trash. My Charge 3 did the exact same thing. My Charge 2 did the same thing. These things should last longer than a year. I don’t know if it’s a software issue or what. A battery can’t go from holding a charge for a week to holding a charge for a couple of hours over night. I hope I have better luck with Garmin. So far this Venu 3s is way better than the Charge 5. I should have learned my lesson long ago with Fitbit, but really liked the app.

I promise you that you will absolutely regret buying the Charge 5. It is not waterproof nor water resistant. I preordered and I got the first batch that was released. Less that a year in and the "water resistant" watch with "water lock" on still failed. How you ask? I was rinsing dishes to put in the dishwasher. These will fail if you get even the smallest amount of water on them. I just had my replacement die. I work in a law office so I am not around water/liquids. I went to check my steps and the screen was nonresponsive. I followed all of the steps only to be told by customer service that it is defective but because it is "outisde of warranty" they can offer 35% discount to purchase a new one. Like, no. I haven't had the replacement for a year but they refuse to cover the replacement. Needless to say, I hate fitbit now. I will be going to Garmin.

Hi mate my budget is around £250 and I am a heavy gyn goer who does alot of running cycling football the usual and Im into my health and fitness away from the gym. The only garmin watch around that price is an instinct 2 or a venu sq 2. Not sure if you know much about these as ive hardly seen you mention them in your videos. And then If i was too chose a fitbit I could get the sense 2 or even go for a bog standard versa 3 or versa 4. Or even get a charge 6. They are not as pricey sa the garmins I have mentioned but like youve said in many videos they are just as good if not the better option for certain things. Ive give you 5 watches there could you give me your best opinion on which one to get?

What do you think the best option for a boxer is? I don’t think idd fully utilize all the GPS stuff cause most of my workouts are within the gym

I've owned a Fitbit versa 4 and I must say it worked ok, however the GPS tracker wasn't accurate and sometimes it wouldn't work at all. Im curious to try out the Garner Forerunner 55. I do lots of jogging and running, what would you recommend?

I owned a Fitbit for 3 months in 2019 then it died after a hiking during winter. The watch never opened again. I bought a fenix 6 pro right after and it’s still a tank. Garmin all the way

My Fitbit's display has faded and it's just "outside of the warranty period." I think this is Fitbit's standard response. They offered me a 35% discount on a new Fitbit.

I can't hang around to see if they offer better products with Google having taken over.

I like what I've seen of the Garmin watches. I don't know about their longevity though.

@STAGFITNESS I need a watch I can wear all the time, all occasions and that has a smaller face, preferably.
