ok, there's quite a bit to say about this. This is a prototype for The Incredibles on PS2, compiled on August 5th 2004. This was first publicly released on March 20th 2021, via Hidden Palace's Project Deluge, along with many other PS2 prototypes. This was made just over a month before the final PS2 version which is crazy to think about, considering just how much changed between this and the final. This was labelled as the "NYC build", so this build was most likely made for some New York related purpose. I already uploaded a video from this prototype before, but I wanted to upload a full playthrough, so all of you can see almost everything this prototype has to offer. Keep in mind that I played this on an emulator, so when there are framerate inconsistencies or audio cuts, that is why.

There is so much stuff that was changed between this and the final and I can't list every single thing in one comment. There are only 8 levels in this build, debug features can be accessed by default (requires a mod to work in the final) and there are some physics differences, just to name a few. Levels can't be completed, there are no movie cutscenes, most in level cutscenes are not present (the ones which are here can be skipped) and so much more.

It's really interesting to see what changed in the demo versus the final gameplay. I got the PS2 game as my first ever console game and absolutely love it. I later got a demo disk with Robot Arena on it and I love playing spot the difference between them to see what features they kept and changed - there's quite a lot. I actually noticed on the final game that in the pause menu, the little videos playing in the bottom left corner are from the demo versions (you'll notice the aim target looks like the demo version and there's some scenes that play that aren't like in the final game, so also found that interesting). Thanks for sharing! Always wondered if they made other demo levels for the game. They definitely made the final version more challenging than this demo version.
