Any one know what "Put the water on the DNA way" means?

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much. I think you opening the garage door, sorry craft room, and realizing it was dark was typical of many artists and crafters who completely lose track of time.🥰

This guy's out refreshing.
I don't care if it's been done before, I could listen to this guy all day.

For a smoother finish on canvas you can get Gesso at the craft store and paint the canvas with it.. then when dry sand it smooth. Do it a few times to get a really smooth surface. Most painters/artists need a little texture from canvas as it gives bite or tooth for the paints to stick as brushed on.

A artist and a natural comedian. He got the mixture for success….. late to the party (he’s already successful) but will subscribe. Thanks man.

I used the water drop affect in some epoxy corn hole boards I made a few years ago. They turned out insane! You explained everything perfectly. Love the water drop affect, love your videos. ❤️❤️

There's no two ways about it. You, my friend, are a genius with God-given wisdom! You're the Solomon of the airbrush! THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR TALENT WITH US!
I'm sure that in your painting endeavors and teaching, that you may have inspired more than a few young people to either put the gaming controller down or come in off the streets and follow your lead and express themselves in a positive way! KEEP THE FAITH AND KEEP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT MY FRIEND!
GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE...

A tip for orienting / hanging the piece with the water droplets: Since light ordinarily comes from above us, mount the piece with the "shadowed" side down and the highlight side up. Alternatively, do whacha want. 😁

Excellent work... and fun!

I discovered a similar effect when you do a base coat, and while it's still wet, immediately follow with a different color primer and it creates an amazing crackle effect and will dry that way without any clear needed! The primer floats on top of the wet paint!

Cool Dude you made me smile and learn at the same time. You are the best kind of teacher and I have been teaching 33 years. Humour and facts make powerful medicine. A recipe to pass down the generations.

That's pretty cool. I was doing this stuff almost 40 years ago with an airbrush when I was studying Commercial Arts (now called "Graphic Design"). What's old is new again.

You may be one of the most humble people on this entire platform. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and journey.

Thank you, I’ve never used spray paint or truthfully barely have any paint skills but redoing a interior wall and I’m going to try this technique out on it. 🤞🏻✌🏻
Gosh bless

I dont get to watch as many of your videos as I used to..Life.. but love every single one that you have done. I love and appreciate how you explain your techniques and have fun while teaching. You really inspired me to do Toomblers and more. My first 2 of them that I did were using the Dawn dish soap and then the 2 tone woodgrain. Looking forward to more of your videos as always.

This guy is so good I could listen him all the time. I am making a coffee table for my daughter and HE gave me an excellent idea how to make it something special. Thank you Duncan👍

Love both the technique AND the way you taught it. Yes, we should take our art seriously and strive to be good at what we do, but humor really helps make things approachable. Thanks for the tips! ❤

I can't remember how I hooked up to your site .... this is the first video of yours that I watched ... but I guarantee it is not the last. I have been into paint, since I created a technique, back in the early 70's (at least I think I created it ... never seeing anyone else do it before) ... using burning plastic, on dash components for my custom van. I moved into air brushing t-shirts, painting car bodies, then painting with brushes on canvas, and now integrating brush and air brush on canvas ... while still painting on other materials ... have seen water droplet effects before but not how it was accomplished ... thanks, Very Cool.
