Deities are the different Principles of the unmanifest Supreme God who perform the various functions in the Universe. Deity Dattatreya or Deity Datta includes the Principles of Creation (Brahma), Sustenance (Vishnu) and Dissolution (Mahesh) and their respective Divine Energies. The Datta Principle is one of the main Principles of God which helps to eliminate the distress caused by dissatisfied departed ancestors who have unfulfilled desires.
The Shri Dattaguru mantra (chant) – ‘Shri Gurudev Datta’ is a potent mantra (chant) that helps to remove distress caused by departed ancestors and helps them gain momentum in their onward journeys in the afterlife. Due to the spiritual energy generated through the Shri Dattaguru mantra (chant), problems such as addictions, marital disharmony, eczema, family discord, financial problems, problems related to not being able to have children or having miscarriages, not doing well in exams, etc. are alleviated.
The way a chant is chanted is very important. For this reason, in this video, the chant is chanted according to spiritual science, with the intonation, sound and pace which give maximum Divine consciousness and positive energy. Since chants are associated with different Deities, they help to bestow positive energy and provide spiritual protection. However, to progress spiritually, one needs to perform the correct spiritual practice as per spiritual science or get the guidance of a true Guru (Spiritual master). To begin with, one can chant the Name of God as per the religion of his or her birth or Om Namo Bhagawate Vasudevaya (because as per spiritual science, the Shri Krishna Principle is most active in the present times).
