I can remember a time in the mid-90s when I was beginning to learn to play guitar and suddenly, compact discs of everything were becoming more readily available than they had ever been. There was one point when my father asked me which Beatles record I would like a copy of next, not letting me know that he already had one in his possession that he was going to spring on me. Erroneously, the one I guessed he had purchased was *Revolver.* I always thought revolver was the companion to *Sgt Pepper, * even though people have historically linked it with *Rubber Soul.*

Revolver is one of the best albums of all time!

I love this Album. I can't choose Revolver or Rubber Soul as my favorite

Yes, Strawberry Fields Forever, For No One, etc. etc. etc.

"Eleanor Rigby, " being such an excellent song is quite often heard on 60's music and soft rock stations. Paul McCartney's vocals on that track are, in my opinion, some of his best. There's hardly a note on it that Paul doesn't nail.

You better not be talking about the American release of Revolver on capitol records, that atrocity had 3 John Lennon songs taken out, and made it look like John was being lazy by featuring only 2 of his songs. The English release on parlophone is the only true revolver...

2nd side makes that true
❤ due to Paul

If only I could think of an adjective to describe everything about Revolver. It probably starts with an 'm'.

This album has "FOR NO ONE" as top of all the songs.

#2? Still have my very used mono, American version, which I bought at Natick Mall. I think it's #1. You'll say Rubber Soul. OK, whatever. I still have my Yesterday and Today - also very used. The cover is coming apart.

I love Revolver but i personally would never compare it or let alone say its better than Pet Sounds. It's absolute perfection. Then again I never would compare the Beach Boys and the Beatles. Both phenomenal bands in their own right.

Great album, and certainly deserves the # 2 spot. However, McCartney and Lennon both had the same amount of compositions on this album.

I'm in the minority. I don't like the Beatle's hippie drug music. I prefer the album HELP!

Consistently really good, unlike Rubber Soul, which is up and down, with too many slow songs. I'd have White and Revolver as the top 2, Rubber Soul way down the list

But it's still not better than Pepper. But it is way better pet sounds.

Revolver, to much McCartney on it, not enough rock and roll, not enough Beatles music like help or the first 3 lps.

Somebody please get this guy a thesaurus -- he needs a few synonyms for "magnificent, " which he uses six times in this brief clip.
