Summer Wells: Still Missing

preview_player
Показать описание
The disappearance of five-year-old Summer Wells on June 15, 2021 has taken the Internet by storm. Due to the child supposedly going missing from her Tennessee home in a very short time frame and no proof of abduction yet to be found, the Internet and YouTubers are examining the parents for possibly being involved in Summer's disappearance. It has gotten quite out of control and I will look at what the issues are and what evidence does exist that police are looking at.

When the Behavior Panel said Brian Laundrie was innocent, I put them in the bs file.

I'm so excited you started your own YouTube channel and, I found it! I used to always seek out your interviews. At first I thought you worked at the BAU and thought you were the best analyst till I heard you set it straight. It makes sense that someone so intuitive and a fantastic critical thinker would be rogue. Love you lots, now I have great content to comsume.

I still think the parental figures know exactly what happened to her.

Unsure how I haven't found you sooner!!! Summer's case has consumed me to an extent... I'm only 44 minutes in and absolutely loving this and you!!! I concur with everything you've said so far and expect to with the rest of your analysis... Common sense is lost on most these days...
Grandus has spoken to the news since this video... the one and only time that she's spoken out... it's quite curious, to say the least... Have you seen it? If so, could you possibly do a short video on her??? She screws up the "script"...
Still watching, so I might be back with something additional...😊😊😊
Jon Benet is another case that grabbed me... I can't wait to watch your videos on her!!!

If my baby disappeared on my property I would be searching all the time. I would never stop.

Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson told the newspaper Monday that social media was causing unsubstantiated rumors about the case to be taken as fact by some.

"There's a lot of incorrect information, and a lot of advice coming from social media that's hampering the investigation with stuff we've already done many times, " he said.

THIS is why I am opposed to True Crime channels constantly analyzing every piece of “information, ” and doing show after show on the same case and having a constant conversation with the public about the case. They are stoking too many theories and people are actually going out and contacting the family and church members and making outrageous claims and interfering with the police investigation. My channel is to EXPLAIN a case….EXPLAIN… (what the police detectives might be analyzing, how the investigation may be going, how a profiler would look at the evidence, and how criminals behave and how people get victimized)….not for people to then go on “investigating” or digging deeper. You will notice that I will talk about a case one time, and only one time, unless there is something very unique to explain in the future. This whole true crime social media trend is getting out of hand. There will always be curiosity…that is fine….but lay people actually going out to investigate themselves is causing harm. And when a channel revs people up to such a high degree, although most will just talk on the Internet, some actually go further and this is what is causing the police to become frustrated with social media and true crime channels. They want them to stop stoking the fire.

I've always thought it was weird how she specifically says she walked Summer from Grandus' back over to their house. To me it seems unlikely she did that, but since she felt the need to say she did, it's like she's really trying to hammer home that she's an attentive mother, yet most attentive mothers I know would have just let their child walk the few feet to the house by themselves. And the 2 minutes is definitely BS.

I read your book about how you became a Profiler and found it fascinating. This was many years ago. TCRS spoke about you and I was so pleasantly surprised to find you here. Now I intend to catch up on all your books.

Peter Hyatt Statement Analysis is excellent! Thank you for taking a look at this and sharing your reasoning.

Loving your channel and learning a happens when one binge watches episode upon episode. What surprises me is that you have a great sense of humour, notwithstanding the often less than humourous content! You sneak snide little remarks in here and there and you have me in stitches. I love what you are doing💫

Missed the live but am catching up now. Thank you, Pat, for addressing this disturbing case of Summer's sudden disappearance.

Thank you, Pat for another great video. Your empirically based approach is much more understandable and better articulated than much of the other information on profiling that is out there. I've always had a bit of trouble comprehending all the voodoo profiling going on, but I can easily understand your lines of reasoning. Please keep making content.

Thank you, Pat, for bringing up the "Cain and Abel effect" with regards to Candus Harer and Candus Wells. What I see is a great deal of overcompensation by Summer's mother regarding attempting to portray herself as a very attentive mother when the reality is much more likely that she wasn't focused upon Summer and there is a few hours that are really unaccounted for. Whether this has to do with indulgence in substances because of a substance use disorder and/or a tendency to leaving Summer to her own devices is up to LE to determine. The Behavior Panel and Peter Hyatt as well as Profiling Evil are a few channels I appreciate but, unlike the Panel, I don't think the parents or grandmother are above suspicion.

This is the best case analysis I have heard in two years. The best. Two years later they are still not charged.

She has never walked that child anywhere in her short life. Never ever. She is saying what she thinks she should say and not how it was. She wasn't an observant hands on parent. That's clear by the state of the home. It's chaotic, their lifestyle is chaotic. It would have been better all round had they of acknowledged the truth. We are not hands on parents. I didn't feel it was risky so I let Summer go in by herself most of the time. Our house is a mess, and none of that matters because our child is missing. Something like that. Instead of trying to tell us something we see with our own eyes is not so.

I live in northeast Tennessee and this has rocked the region. Children services have received so much backlash for not taking the children away sooner. It should be hard to strip parents rights away. The fact she disappeared right before starting kindergarten with all the mandatory reporters seems significant. What are your thoughts on the timing of her disappearance?

You are amazing, such a breath of fresh air on this case. Thank you for sharing your insight and years of experience with all of us confused people. We all want to know what has happened/is happening to Summer.

Granduce left state almost immediately after Summer went missing. She was gone for quite a long time. I was surprised they allowed her and her pickup truck to leave since that was the vehicle they used the day Summer came up missing.

I don't know what happened to that baby girl... I do know that if her parents don't try to discipline her in church, how much attention do they pay to her at home?
She seems to be have been left to her own devices...
