The Electra Bali Cruiser Go! Step-Thru is an affordable lightweight cruiser electric bike with special edition Artist Series tropical design. priced to compete with online ebikes but offers dealer assembly, fitting, post-purchase support, and comes in two frame styles and eight color scheme options! The step-thru is a small-medium with 26" tires and the high-step is a medium-large with 27.5" tires. This is a Class 1 ebike with three levels of torque and cadence sensing pedal assist, a minimalist control pad that is easy to use, very clean cable routing, and a reliable single speed drivetrain with no shifters. The Bali and Shibori come with fenders, integrated lights, and a bell, but you can also add them to the standard Cruiser Go! along with cargo racks and a bottle cage. Large 180mm mechanical disc brakes provide good stopping power, wide 2.35" tires provide comfort and stability, extra-wide saddle with elastomer bumpers and swept-back handlebar provide a relaxed body position. Unique "Flat Foot" frame geometry makes it easy to touch the ground when stopped while still providing good leg extension for pedaling. Excellent weight distribution with downtube integrated battery pack. The battery and motor are so hidden and quiet that it hardly looks or sounds like an ebike! Lower than average 250wh battery capacity and 250 watt motor pair nicely for an efficient riding and keep the overall weight and price low. Tires seem kind of basic with no puncture protection or reflectivity.

Thanks for the review. Just bought one for my wife. She loves it! It is plenty of power for her. Most people are surprised it’s an e-bike. It’s such a clean simple design which is part of the reason I bought it. The Bali graphics are beautiful in person.

I ride a standard Townie 7-D and it is a good bike. Bare bones, but well made and I have heard the same thing from Electra e-bike owners. I talked to a guy who has the Cruiser Go Step-Over and he is putting in some serious riding on it, and going a fair distance, too.

Do you find the single speed on the e-bike matters that much compared to the 7 speed townie model?

In the transcript 2:38. Is it not cadence sensor and torque sensor are two different function? Also should the torque sensor by the rear hub area ? thanks for clarify.😒

I know it’s just a single speed with a mild motor and small battery, but that’s very light for an electric cruiser bike with steel components.

One important point, even with a "just" 250 Watt Motor, there should be brake inhibitors, especially for older riders. Safety first for a almost no cost improvement.

Do you find the 1 speed is suitable? Would it be better to get the 7D

i might instead opt for an Electra cruiser and cheap front hub . gives the option of more power and multi speeds . i dig the built-in batt

Do you ever review electric recumbent bikes? Also, do any of the bikes you review use LiFePO4 batteries, rather that Li ion?

If a larger diameter gives a mechanical advantage, old style rim brakes have an advantage over any disk brakes 🤔

"True" miles per charge please? Can you run 26x2 or 2.125 inches tires?

Awesome granny bike for the 90+ Crowd. 👍

live in a seaside FL town and this looks like a good e-bike for a rental "fleet". The right mix of features for the tourists with single speed, almost no exposed cables and battery in frame.... and with a 250w motor, maybe less likely to get Granny or Junior in serious trouble.
