The thing about the electromagnetic tires is that you couldn't brake as efficiently as regular tires mounted on axles. The Motive tires wouldn't be very durable at all because they're only polyurethane, and driving over the things we do every day, they would totally break. Plus the motive tires wouldn't have as much grip as a conventional tire on the road, and it would be inconvenient to change the tires every time you wanted to have good performance off-road, or want to drive on a road. The E Membrane tires are very cool and sound like a great concept except for turning at low speeds when the centrifugal force does not push out the rest of the tire. You wouldn't have any grip at low speeds, so taking off would be a struggle. Like I said earlier, the electromagnetic tires would not have any system of braking, unless they can figure out a system for it that still has the suspension concept of the electromagnetic tires. And when turning, if you hit a bump, the tires aren't connected via a shaft or anything but magnets, so the tires could easily come off. And I heard the magnets de-magnetize eventually, so the tires would need to be replaced often. The spherical tires would also have the problems as the electromagnetic tires. And would have no grip. The material on the outside of the spherical tires would erode away because when going over a bump, the sphere would hit the frame or the magnets so often that it would be inconvenient to replace tires that seem to be thousands of dollars a piece. The tires are so fascinating, but have many flaws that haven't yet been thought out, and they would be so expensive, and a huge sudden change in cars that most people would probably never afford. The tires are also not very attractive, and there is not much to do about that.

Im tired of all of these tires it really makes my legs feel like rubber

Very interesting concepts. However, new and complicated technology is usually too expensive for mass use especially ones that require new suspension technology. If you own a Bugatti, you are in for a treat. Only $3 million.

That Hankook "Motiv" offroad tire design is already a failure unless they can figure out how to keep it from retaining debris behind the tread. Sand, mud, rocks, and even snow & ice could possibly get trapped behind the tread keeping the tire from flexing as designed. Could then affect balance as well as braking... I'll keep using the current tires available. Thanks.

It will never come to reality... LMAO...

This reminds me of being a kid and seeing commercials, movies or ideas of flying cars in the year 2000. We were supposed to be “The Jetsons” by now. That was back in the late 70s early 80s. And the most extreme car that exists are ”self driving” cars. Now some 35 years later they’re saying that all this technology will be about in the year 2035. It’s all BS and a waste of time creating these videos. Even If they existed few could afford them.

There's a basic flaw in those tilting tires. When tou lean a bike, you change the center of gravity. Therefore, the effect is the tire and centrifugal force matching to maintain the bike tilt. On a car, you're just shifting to the sidewall, no change in weight/CG. What is the advantage?

motive makes me think of a tire that can grow as speed grows, as if to act as a continously variable transmission at the wheel :p

I like all ideas. But they need to make a tyre that's just a solid rubber tyre on a hub to give me endless hours of smoke, when I rip a hectic skid

First tires about the only one that will ever be made.

watching tires makes your tiredness go away, well it's been a tiring day.

LOL we should all be in the air before that eagle 360 becomes a reality. That e membrane is backwards I would want all tread on ground for acceleration and the reduced tread for long high speed travel.

Magnetic tire lmao that not possible with a normal car power

Did I slip into an alternate universe cause the Goodyear Eagle 360, I saw two years prior the same animation, but as the BF Goodwrench BF 360, logos changed obviously but still... Or more likely one company or the other ripped each other off.
