How do we know whether “com14” has been assigned to the uart ? Is this something we can assign ourselves? Or the computer does that for us? Thanks

I recommend tutorials that are to the point with no distractions or complications... In this case the temperature feature with matlib.. not relevant to the tutorial with I think it's about pico and uart programming... Send string and get string should be enough.
