our wheelchairs, or walking sticks, or crutches etc don’t limit us! (our disabilities do)

we aren’t trapped, and it isn’t sad that we need to use something that helps us so much 🙈 yes it’s sad that our disabilities cause us struggle, but our mobility aids are a GOOD thing which help us to preserve energy, get places we couldn’t before, spend time outside…

my mobility aids have given me my life back, and allow me to still function when my body isn’t working at its best ✨

obviously not everybody who uses mobility aids will be able to do things that I can like gymnastics, because everybody’s conditions and disabilities are very different!!
I *mostly* use my mobility aids for chronic fatigue and for fainting type symptoms - which means that by using using them it enables me to do more physical activity when i’m using the mobility aid 💖🫶🏻
and my paralysis / tremors / weakness symptoms (FND) come and go!

My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about disability, neurodiversity and what its like living with Tourette's Syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and Orthostatic Hypotension. Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition causing involuntary movements called tics.
I use my social media (TikTok, YouTube and Instagram) to advocate and raise awareness for my conditions and show what it is like living with a disability as a neurodivergent person.
I am also autistic and share my sensory struggles along with my experiences with mental health disorders.
I show what its like having a disability and the accomodations I have to help my daily life. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user showing my life using mobility aids and how chronic illness symptoms change from day to day!
I am also a musician with a popular song called "She's Mine" available on all streaming services - I wrote, produced, mixed and mastered all my songs myself! I am also an artist and a writer. I love reading and I'm currently writing a novel and a book about my life!

I use ankle braces because my hypermobility makes me prone to sprains, they help me so much and allow me to do things I enjoy, like hiking.
