Once several years ago, I was invited to a “girl’s night out” by a friend of mine. She invited myself and some friends of hers to her apartment. Each of us only knew her, the hostess. We did not know each other. The purpose was for my friend to introduce us to each other. We each brought a covered dish, sat and ate, talked and laughed. At one point one of the ladies asked me if I wanted my fortune told. Before I could say no, she pulled out a Tarot deck from her purse and began flipping some cards. Whatever she said only lasted a few minutes and she went on to read the cards for the other guests. About 2 months later I visited another friend’s church. After services, a lady there came up to me. I had never met this lady before, and this was my first time visiting my friend's church. The lady asked me if I had been around anyone fortune-telling, anything involving the occult. I had forgotten about the Tarot cards, so I said no. But the lady was insistent. She said she saw 2 demons with me who were connected to fortune-telling who were waiting to destroy me. Then I remembered the Tarot cards. She began to rebuke these demons whom she said backed away from me and disappeared through the walls at the back of the church as she prayed. I give this testimony as a warning ⚠ to young people. Please stay away from ANYTHING that is not of God. Evil spirits can transfer. They come “to steal, kill, and destroy.” (John 10:10)

As a church leader, I've recently drawn a line in the sand in our church and REFUSE to hold any celebration at the church to compete with Satan's high holiday. Instead, we'll offer the children a Fall Gathering of Thanksgiving. On October 31st, we'll offer the adults teaching on the occult, spiritual warfare, and Christ's victory afforded us through the cross and His precious blood. ❤✝️🙏

I was the victim of multiple forms of abuse as a very young child, and later found out that my grandfather was a practicing Satanist who had carried out unspeakable rituals and was likely cursing our family. I dealt with unimaginable fear of the dark and crippling night terrors/recurring dreams and sleep paralysis for many years, until Jesus healed my mind. I too was into the occult at an early age. Praise God that I had a friend share the gospel with me at 15 and I was saved by God's grace. I can relate to all you are saying about recruiting children from an early age. I remember watching "fun" little cartoons ... like Casper and begging for "fun" scary comic books while I was still in early elementary school. We had rumors that the lady (originally from the South Pacific) who lived across the street was a "witch", so of course I had to go meet her and make friends. She was indeed into Spiritualism and more than willing to teach me to read cards and so on. We dressed for Halloween and played witch and I filled my mind with all things paranormal and occult. By my early teens I was pretty deep into all things occult. My Parker Brothers "game" went with me to many sleep overs and thrilled my friends. Especially when it was moving "magically" to answer their questions while placed on the floor with us holding hands in a circle around it. The deeper I got the more I was tormented as well. Depression. Thoughts and even plans to off myself. I was terrified of death, but also mesmerized by it as well. And I was angry. I wasn't sleeping well or eating well or enjoying my life. The night I was at my Christian friends house for a sleep over I was SO angry at her constantly talking about the Bible and God. I was ready to punch her. "There IS no AFTERLIFE! No Heaven! No Hell!" I shouted at her. "You are just wasting your time with all of this God foolishness." Then she asked me a question. "How sure are you? If YOU are right and I am wrong, then I have wasted my time by praying to a non-existent God and when I die then I will be gone. However, IF I am right and you have made a mistake... then YOU will burn in an eternal HELL when you die. How sure are you?" That question was enough to lower my guard and listen to the Gospel. Praise GOD for giving me such a bold friend! Praise GOD that I don't have to DO anything but repent and ask for His mercy. Praise God he has loved me enough and saved me. My life did a 180 at that point and I never looked back. Life on this planet is NOT easy, but I have peace and true joy because I belong to Christ.

My daughter says she is a white witch 😢 she was raised as a Christian but now gives Tarot readings etc. Her house has been haunted and plagued for years.she doesn't want to hear me talking about the Lord anymore and yes, she too started with yoga, meditation, drugs etc. please please pray she opens her eyes. I'm a very strong Christian warrior, always have been. My niece was practicing wicca with her friends for years and identified as Wiccan.

I was traveling America and passing through her town, they let me crash on their couch while I visited.

They warned me of some angry spirits.

My reply: "your evil spirits are absolutely terrified of me because Jesus came in with me".

Slept like a baby with no worries.

I changed my mind. A long time ago I thought about celebrating Halloween I was heavily into law of attraction, crystals, and into spirituality that did not involve God. It was essentially minor relations to witchcraft, I made the conscious decision to derive from this and as I am on not my first walk, but my forever walk in Christ.

When i was in college in the 80's, I wasn't really a Christian yet, but i was hanging out with Christian friends. One night, we went to hear an ex-witch (turned Christian) speak about her experiences as a witch. What stood out most to me was how Satan worked through her but allowed her to think that SHE had the power. What an "attractive" thing to a girl who feels powerless. The enemy, unfortunately, is wise. But Jesus is all-wise and all-powerful and will defeat the devil!

I just came across this video in 2024. You did a splendid job of explaining things. I did not let my kids participate in Halloween and was ridiculed for it. I very much dislike this "holiday." I came out from under satan’s control in 1978 when I gave my life to Jesus. I have experienced a lifetime of oppression and difficulty since because the devil does not let go easily. Praise God, He is faithful and greater is He that is in me than he who is in world. The Lord brought me through all of it, delivered me and used it FOR my good and HIS glory. No more terrors or dark shadows lurking around. God’s strength is manifested in our weakness and HE keeps those who belong to Him!

It is always awkward explaining why my child does not attend Halloween events at daycare but your testimony reminds me to keep pressing on even when ppl around me look at me like I am nuts. I stumbled on your video today, two years after you posted it. God was speaking to me strongly today, urging me NOT to take my kids out to trick-or-treat. We already had plans to meet up with friends and have a merry time. And your testimony and insight stopped me in my tracks. I cancelled our plans and we didn't go. I was open with the kids, and explained exactly why the Holy Spirit was telling me to change course. We went to my parents house instead, where my mother (a Christian) dressed as a "silly" witch. My son announced that we are "never trick or treating again because it is supporting Satan" (his take on my explanation). And in the following moments, I realized how deceived my parents were - and realized that the devil had some kind of hold on them. My parents, both self-professed Christians, vehemently rebuffed my son, with a fervor I was not expecting. It opened my eyes to just how ignorant we are. I am now even more convinced I have made the right choice for our family. I will NOT lead my children on their merry way to Hell. Thank you for this testimony. I pray that more people see this and listen to the Holy Spirit's whispering to do things differently.
