I've also used builder gel on a pot and acrylic to adhere them. With acrylic you just need to wait a few minutes until it's cured

Hi Anastasia!! Love this tip! I have a question, maybe you can help me. Is it possible to do this same technique with nails that have already a design? Like press on gels in for example purple color, or the led light won't go trought the color and cure the gel that you use to attach it to the nail, as the tips aren't transparent? No need for extra base coat on top of the tip? We create an apex with the rubber base for the nail to last. How's the correct way?

Thank you for this video, it's really helpful. But judging by the title, I would have expected you give an explanation for the gap that must be filled in with builder gel later. What does this method help with? I have never applied gel x tips before but am planning on trying it soon, so I would like to know why I shouldn't apply the tips close to the cuticle. Thank you! 😊
