The Thomas Kilmann Conflicht Mode Instrument is based on a five-category scheme for classifying interpersonal conflict-handling modes: competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding, and accommodating.

Really great video. The avoiding model is also considered lose-lose as there was no chance of resolution or progress, and the compromising is often considered a no win-no lose as a slightly different interpretation.

The compromising mode is moderate assertiveness and moderate cooperation
.
Some defines compromise as “giving up more than you want, ” while others see compromise as both parties winning.
Times when the compromising mode is appropriate are when you are dealing with issues of moderate importance, when you have equal power status, or when you have a strong commitment for resolution.
Compromising mode can also be used as a temporary solution when there are time constraints.

Nice quick explanation of the system. However, I have to admit...I am heavily distracted by the fact that this was very clearly animated using 2-3 frames of a 'drawing' hand and computer drawn/written everything else. I kinda wish it had either just used a real person actually drawing things, or excluded the hand thing. Especially when they are 'drawing' various shades/shapes/colors of ink using the same black sharpie lol.
