Story of my life. =/

Really makes school a challenge, especially when your teachers write it off as "daydreaming" or "inattention" or "poor study habits"... And no matter how many times I tried saying otherwise it took 15 years and 2 GTCS's (which only occurred in this past year) for anyone to realize it was actually Epilepsy... =[ I hope nobody else has to have their entire future altered because of poor identification of a relatively common neurological problem... Thank u for posting these.

That's about how I hear conversations when this happens. Now that I am an adult that still has them sometimes I have learned to guess what I have missed, yet people get frustrated with me when you have to ask them to repeat what they just said.

I have absence seizures all the time and just realize I'm staring at random people. I have a lot of seizures though.

I got here from another epilepsy video (Complex Focal Seizure) my friend shared. Her son has epilepsy. This happens to me all the time! I'm kind of freaking out right now...
