I actually spend my life behind my ipad or computer. This video really inspired me! I always wanted to go to a café by myself and read a book, and then go to the cinema to watch a movie all by myself. I want some time alone to think.

Are you living your best life?

My name is Gabe Burks. I realized early on that I hated the way I was living. I was 15 when it really started really noticing it. I was diagnosed with depression, and extreme anxiety and I fell into a bad hole by the age of 16. Even to the point where I considered a few things. That's when I realized I wanted to change my life and as many other people's as I could. Throughout all of the issues I was having I had a hobby. I loved making youtube videos. Though at the time they were dumb and weird I loved being with friends, feeling "free", and just sharing it with people. But it didn't last long, there was always the low points. During my lowest point I was in class. We watched a ted talk about mental health. One of the points in the Ted Talk was that people normally adapt to what they think others want. See as humans we want to be accepted by each others and liked, and while that's fine it leads to big issues. We often change ourselves, sometimes not even on purpose. I remember always being "bubbly" and happy all the time and that made people like me, but eventually I changed because I loved attention. I was "popular" and well honestly turned into an a**. During my low point I realized this. I also realized I hated the way I was living and who I became because it wasnt me.
After this realization I started pursuing my one true passion. Video creation. I was always fascinated with the idea of being a YouTuber. I even paid for a mentor class to learn new things on how to be a better YouTuber. So I changed everything. I devoted myself to my work on YouTube. I'm a video editor, digital media marketer, film student, and a highschool student. I make documentary style videos about what I want to fo from my bucket list, but in the videos I choose a topic and I explain why I want to experience it, I share my experience with it and I even meet with people and travel places in order to learn about it and then teach it to you. The point of these videos is to inspire people to go out and do the same. To inspire people to live their best lives even on a very low budget.
I hope this email has reached you in some kind of way I want to change peoples live for the better just by opening their eyes and convince them to live for themselves and not for others and to make a change in their life and challenge what society deems "normal"If you're interested in my videos or want to participate in filming them (I want to film with people experiencing their bucket list together or even their biggest fear.) then check it out! If not I hope you will still take my words to heart and explore new things in your life and be true to yourself.

Everyone should watch this video to remember or rather make a remember because that's all you or I will have in our olden days before our death .thank you for helping us get through the middle age crisis waking up and living our lives. As myself ex army we are trained to focus on our mission but now as civilians and me at 45 life lived to the fullest should be the mission.

Thank you for setting the record straight and telling the truth of reality and life itself. We all have one life and one body. We shouldnt let it go to waist. FEAR is self imposed, which means it doesnt exists, you can create it or destroy it, its an intangible. Live in the present and not think about the future because we might not make it to that point in life. Its okay to start the journey but dont be guaranteed your gonna make it that far until you've actually made it and then think to your self what an accomplishment that I've done to be here in life. Life has its ups and downs, just be blessed that your still living you life everyday you wake up to persue it and to keep moving forward and to never give up in what you want to become, just live in the present not the future because ony time will tell for any of us....

Just turned 14 yesterday and I'm starting highschool next week. I'm going to watch this video every morning instead of moping and expecting the worse of everything. I struggle with social anxiety, I wasted all 3 years of middle school in a shell because of it. I didn't have any friends and I hardly ever left the house. I don't want highschool to end up the same, because I only get one shot at it. So even if I'm scared when people talk to me I'm going to form conversation so I won't end up alone again. Because that's not who I want to be. I want to inspire, create, and participate. I'm gonna give it my all! Even if it's much easier said than done. 😅 I'll update this comment once I get through my first week.

Listening to this person talking and saying such great empowering words makes me feel sad as much as i feel happy because of the unbelievable amount of negative people that we have in this world who try with all that they've got to bring you down and suck the life out of you just because they have wasted theirs. Im 28 and ive damaged a lot being someone phenomenal amongst evil people who have drained most of my youth and energy. Im exhausted and need to bring back my momentum to kick start my life again. I seriously have no clue what to do
