Η Οινοποιητική Μονεμβασίας ιδρύθηκε στις 20 Σεπτεμβρίου 1997 στη Moνεμβασιά Λακωνίας από το Γιώργο Τσιμπίδη. Η δημιουργία της Οινοποιητικής Μονεμβασίας εντάχθηκε στα πλαίσια ενός ευρύτερου επιχειρηματικού σχεδίου που είχε σχέση με την αναβίωση του οίνου Μαλβαζία.

Monemvasia Winery was founded on September 20th, 1997 in Monemvasia of Lakonia by G. Tsibidis. This initiative was part of a wider business plan with a clear objective: the revival of the Malvasia wine in its birth place.
