Dele has been given every opportunity. For the first time in his career, he has legit players in front of him in the squad and seems to be content to just be a passenger instead of fighting for his place. That's not good enough for the club's ambitions. The defeat itself is hardly the end of the world given it's the 2nd match of a 6-match group stage, but this has surely given Mourinho food for thought in regards to his future UEL squads.

No way you lot are Spurs fans down here. I’m an Arsenal fan but give me a break. Jose has wrecked dele’s confidence and its poor management. He’s made a lot of good chances and I’ve been impressed with him (it’s Jose. I personally expected him to do well) but his handling of dele is so poor. A simple example, when he hooked dier he apologised to him and wrapped him In cotton wool. Dele gets hooked and then further hung to dry in pressers. At some Point a bit of care for your player has to kick in
