Another excellent video. I travel a lot with Air New Zealand and I have always maintained that it is the cabin crew that are their best asset, it's very rare where I could fault their friendly and attentive attention in any way. I'm happy to pay the extra for Premium Economy on long haul flights, the space and extra service and food make it well worthwhile. I'm flying to Europe and back shortly on a combination of Air NZ PE / Business and Cathy Pacfic PE and Norwegian Premium so I'm looking forward to comparing the different offerings on their 12+ hours flights.

Hello friends - flew this product long haul from LAX->AKL a few weeks ago on the 777-300. There are some differences that may be relevant if you're considering PE for a 12 hour flight:

-for a long-haul, they give you a giant pile of stuff. Pillow, blanket, amenity kit. Unfortunately there's no place to put it besides the overhead bin, your seat pocket, or the floor, which negates the space advantage of PE a bit.

-I'm not that tall (5'11"/180 cm) but I found the legrest very uncomfortable for sleeping for very long. I woke up with a horrible cramp in my knee. I slept better with my feet on the floor. The legrest is very nice for lounging though.

-I don't think the headphones are noise cancelling (there's no switch) but they are pretty good.

-I REALLY appreciated how for non-vital announcements, they displayed them as text on the IFE screen rather than waking everyone up with a PA. Handy feature!

Everything else lines up nicely with this vid but I did want to point these out. Thanks for a review of a product it's hard to find reviews for!
