I put a set of those on our cub cadet ZT2. Our place is an old dairy farm with the unpredictable grounds. The 'bush hog' affect of the blades is what we needed. The results are outstanding. A few tips from my experience with the blades. Since they are heavy, I start the PTO at idle and slowly increase engine rpm. Sharpen them before mounting for a more finished cut. The 4 cutter blades create much more updraft than standard blades. Paint the underside of the mower deck with ez slide graphite paint to help keep the grass from building up too quickly.

I wish I had one of those bushhog style blades for my snapper comet. It was already a 30 inch bushhog with a seat with the stock blade.

I think you are gonna wish you got Cutlass blades from the maintenance stand point alone, but Meg-Mo is no slouch. Best off luck brother, I love your posts!

How do these discharge compared to normal blades when going through super tall (8-10") grass? What about wet grass? I'm glad you mentioned discharge seems to be more forceful or however you worded it, just curious if you've pushed them in conditions like that to see how they perform.

Dunno if I'd buy from meg-mo when I have steel and a plasma cutter to play with... just wondering if its worth making the templates to cut out 3 disks and purchasing a new set of blades to cut the middle out of.

Sorry For The Delay, I Was In Mexico. What I Want To Ask You Is, Were Did You Buy The Accessories For The Honda Trail? You See The Honda Don't Sell The Trail In Europe, So I Had To Ship It From Thailand. Many Thanks.

The Blade configurations are Not the problem. It's the fact most makers Are CLUELESS as to the process of hardening and then proper tempering the steel. It's the biggest problem with mower blades.
