I have a theory that IB doesn't destroy supernatural, but instead absorbs it. IB holds everything it absorbed across the history within it, and stuff like dragons are some of the strongest things it absorbed. With this function IB might be not just a reference point to return the world to normal, but also as a way to store important spells for the future

What really caught my biggest attention was not "how dragons", but "why dragons".

Considering how much Kamachi stressed on the symbology and meaning of dragons in NT 22R, there's a lot of speculation.

I really think the current scenario in the novels poses a great chance to explore this.

There have been many theories on these colourful serpents from Hadit, to the Philosopher's Stone and The rebirth of St.George's Dragon. One current idea I have is Touma is the #0 Level 5. In NT21 Aleis-Tan when talking about Anna Spergal brings up a theory of a #0 level 5. Then when Anna Spergal does turn up, in NT22R she and Aiwass connect Touma to The Fool which is the #0 card in the Tarot deck. After his talk with Dion, Touma then starts calling himself and KnT The Wandering #0….We know The level 5's are ranked on how useful they are to Aleister's plan and we all know who is said to be the key to his whole plan. Anyways with how big a brain Aleister is who's to say the level 5's are just ranked by 7 down to 1?

I kinda want a video theorizing what the abilities of 8/7 other dragons are.

On another note, the Dragon Form(s) in NTR22 could be one of those of the dragons that we haven't seen, leaving the possibility that Touma or someone else who host them could use the dragons as some type of armor. The Angel Dragon 'taking over' Kimi could be a similar effect to it, though unlike Touma it like merged with her, Touma (and KnT) could take it off at will (well except on the right arm part).

Normally I try to avoid spoilers, but since it took me forever to read LN of Solo Leveling and still like 100 chapter behind on Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy LN, I’m happily obliged watching your content and analysis. I'm going to be honest, when I saw the angel Dragon getting destroyed by Misaka, part of me wondered if it went back to Kamijou or of it's the last we see of it. Being the second could mean there is ways to defeat them and not just to seal them. Of course, defeating that while not letting Kimi to die needed one of the most savage and extreme Deus ex Machina I ever saw not just in Rail gun, or even Index franchise, but in anime-manga industry. That said, AAA and Platinum wings Accelerator may have gotten to that level, but Kamijou probably would want to save them anyways.

It's not like KnT and touma traded ability. It is simply a symbolism of the position held by KnT and touma. At first it is KnT with imagine breaker facing a monster (dragon) touma before the reveal. After touma dragon shell got negated by imagine breaker, the situation reversed where it is now touma in the position of the human and KnT as the rejected monster regardless of imagine breaker position. In fact the two duked it out a bit in their dragon form while KnT still had the imagine breaker.

My theory of the dragon is Touma creates them subconsciously based on things he’s experienced then take them up a nock
The dragon king - can purify and erase memories like when lost his
The fire dragon- his fight with stylis
The lighting dragon -mikoto
The blind dragon- well that could be a lot of things
The angel dragon- The fight with index
And the last 3 I don’t know they could be from before he lost his memories

Imagine if the Angel dragon was a form of Lucifer, refusing to serve someone else.

One of its powers is based around light, fitting for an angel described as the brightest. And it's seems odd for an angelic-like being with the power to force others under it's control

i just realized that touma probably wont be able to control the dragon powers as IB negates that from happening, like a seal
but this also shows that touma have full control of the dragons like the 2 times he used them
