Yes it's empty without it. So empty, so cold, so dark...

Thank you for posting this interview. It gives a completely different portrait of Chomsky - the human side just plain and simple.

very emotive poetic take on love, it's not the case as Buskowski said ~ love is like fog that gets cleared with rays of sunlight

We need him now more then ever - to paraphrase a close friend of mine -
but we will do him his honour by being servants of truth. As he has lead
the way of this in recent times, it is up to us to flourish the concept
of objective truth, universal and selfless empathy for the betterment
of all in the name of us humanity, we a species and one day sadly, this
pillar of inspiration of what it means to obtain truth by the rationale.
I cannot say enough in every sense, but for what Chomsky is to so many,
will never die. He has sown a million seeds and many will flourish into
new and vibrant beings of truth. Nothing is ever over, he will never
ever be forgotten.

People who denigrate Noam Chomsky don't really know anything about Noam Chomsky.

@Rfriddle1977 I don't think we would like to be called a prophet, but definitely one of the greatest minds of our time.

@wilproK this shows your human sensitivity.

I think that's a monumental oversimplification. Also, I've eaten chocolate all the time and never felt more than comfort. Love would be something much more impressive, such as coming across someone and becoming so infatuated that you abandon everything you've lived for, even if you are aware there isn't a chance, yet still persist.

But you can't be trusted so silence or lies are your primary options

What are you talking about? Did you watch the same clip? There were two different questions?

Not sure he just meant 'without his wife', different experiences of love get a mention... :-)

@Freethinker12341 If you "love" money or objects, then I suppose you would make sense. But a life, a truly meaningful life, without love ascribed to people and not just things--how pathetic it would be.
