Was definitely impressed with how well portrait mode handled your (fantastic) fuzzy sweater! The cutout was perfect. I expected it to struggle a bit with that sweater, but nope, it nailed it.

Got mine yesterday, and I can already say that it's a worthy upgrade even coming from an S22U. The curved display is perfectly subtle. It's almost flat. It also somehow feels lighter and more comfortable to hold. Performance is so smooth and noticeably faster. Battery life is also significantly improved. I haven't even used its camera, but I am sure, based on all reviews, that it's noticeably better as well. For the first time, I feel like I could keep this for years instead of upgrading every year. Great job Samsung.

I'm mentioning - because I just saw in small print (though some might not notice) - for peak charging you need a 5A USB C cable, not the 3A cable that comes in the box

I've had the S23 Ultra since February 6 and I can also confirm that the battery life is much better. With my S22 Ultra, the first 10% flew off, I almost didn't touch it, now this doesn't happen anymore. What I see now is that the battery on both WiFi and 4G/5G goes down less quickly. I haven't tested gaming yet.
It is also good for taking pictures. Video camera and upload always consume more of course keep that in mind. I've already been able to get 9 hours of effective usage time out of it, which I never managed to do with the S22 Ultra. I've never gone below 7:30 am effective usage time until now. Of course I'm on WiFi a lot and I don't use the video camera for hours. But with my normal use, the battery is much better, it's about time. ;). For me it's worth an upgrade, small differences people say but those differences make a pretty big difference to me. About the HDR10 +, I tested it in daylight and I'm not happy with it, if you film in 4K 60fps in daylight, turn off the HDR10 + quickly, I posted a video of it.
