The question is, should you get an enduro bike for ultimate downhill performance and suffer on the climbs, or should you get a trail bike for better climbing efficiency but suffer on the descents? Canyon is trying to answer that question with its spectral 125. It offers all the attitude of the previas Spectral series with just a bit less travel. Instead of 160mm of front and 150mm of rear travel, they've bumped it down to 140mm of front and 125mm of rear travel while keeping all other numbers relatively the same. The result? A hard-hitting, snappy trail bike that can climb well and descend even better.

I just got mine from Canyon website on a discount for $2900! Been riding it for a week and absolutely love it, considering the big price drop the components and carbon frame were a steal imo. Btw is back to almost normal price, the discount only stayed for like a week

The question is whether this is worth buying over the equivalent Spectral 29.

This one isn't little, relative long 29er. Medium size is more close to large on prev year models.

flip chip high mode = HTA, Seat Tube Angle, BB height ?

76degree STA is fine. Personally I don't see the need for many frames moving towards steeper STA's

What is the head tube angle with the flip-chip in the high mode? Is low mode the default?

Meine Erfahrungen mit dem Spectral 125 CF LTD sind extrem negativ. Der SRAM Flight attendant funktioniert seit Auslieferung nicht. Die Federgabel wird nicht gesteuert. Auch nach 8 Wochen ist keine Aussicht auf Behebung des Schadens.

Accessory mounts are so stupid under the top tube as shown in your video. Would make so much more sense to be on top by the head tube...but that's not cool looking bro.
