Today, Moon discusses Honkai: Star Rail's v2.1 Tier List after the Release of Acheron, Gallagher, and Aventurine to see where changes have been made in the Meta! Acheron and Aventurine have changed the meta because they operate with team comps. Acheron is a 5-Star Lightning Nihility Character coming into HSR v2.1, and has a huge focus on debuffs inflicted onto enemies to unleash her ultimate! Acheron relies on the help of other Nihility Characters to be at her best potential. As for Aventurine, he provides amazing shields for all allies and improves follow-up-centric teams. This plays a huge part regarding their place in the meta.

I wish CC's made and updated their own tierlists instead of validating/criticizing one singular tier list cause I think that could give the false impression that Prydwen's tierlist is the end all be all of tierlists to a lot of viewers, I think it'd be more interesting that way that way too :V

They consider Qingque at E0 to be in the same damage dealer tier as Argenti?!?? The heck kind of build do they have on him, lol.

as a person who played with Gepard as my main sustain for my main team due to trying to build my team and taking a break after pulling for Black Swan.

Adventurine is just awesome, He is basically March 7th and Gepard combined to one new unit. he has shield numbers like Gepard while his kit is similar to that of March 7th. the big difference is that his damage is influenced by how big his defense is and thus you have no worries about him hitting like a wet noodle if you have used any sustain to try and attack a weak mob.

as for how to build him? Without his lightcone he needs 3 defense pieces in Rope, Orb and Boots with Crit Damage body. With his lightcone, 2 Defense pieces are enough to reach the threshold even at S1. You can build him as a normal shield sustain character like march and geppie but keep in mind the following for farming his pieces

1.) To build Knights, you need to farm thunder piece which nobody really uses. It's better to go pioneer because the teams he is usually in are Debuff teams

2.) without any crit rate buffs, he is only going to have 53% crit rate combined with his first trace. may seem high for a sustain but at the same time his damage comes from critting a consistent basis.

3.) Speed depends on what type of team comp you are running. slow Adventurine is fine for most team comps while fast adventurine is better for Follow up attack teams since he will get more chances to refresh his A6 trace as it has a cap of 3 follow up attacks.

Obligatory comment about loving these kinds of videos, but at end of the day, the biggest problem everyone has is relic farming and the depression it causes

One of the only lists I mostly agree with. I do have a massive issue with them saying Misha is bad. He does so much dmg at e6 and is as good as Xueyi at the same eidolons.
Also disagree with Argenti, Bailu, and Gepard being in B.
Also Pela being in A feels odd as she is better than Tingyun for versatility. Plus people are STILL overlooking building her for sub dps dmg.

I think S is fine for Huo Huo. Even though I have her and no other 5* sustain, the other sustain seem to be much more comfortable more often, while also not needing as much skill points. Luocha being S with her is fine because while he is more comfortable, he doesn't have as much utility compared to the others.

Fu Xuan and Adventurine seem to be both comfortable and provide utility, which I believe puts them a step above Huo Huo and Loucha.

I think Huohuo does bring alot of value, but in terms of protecting your teams, she's is less comfortable than Aventurine and Fu Xuan.

Her being at S tier is fine by me. This is the "sustain" category after all.

I think the mindset for sustain list is who makes you immortal, since on huohuo and luocha there are times you die with them, but aventurine and fu is just semi immortal units.

I think most of these are right I would argue topaz could be S+ especially with the addition of aventurine her follow up attack buff is just so huge for follow up centric teams while also having good damage herself.

Argenti being in B tier is just pure misinformation. He is literally amazing against Aventurine boss.

So far, Welt seems to be the last of the standard banner characters to be powercrept.

He is still the only one who can apply Imprison, outside of imaginary break. The team I use is Welt, Sparkle, Dan IL, Yukong. It takes E6 Yukong and precise speed between her and Sparkle. The results are worth it

Aventurine is amazing! So glad the gacha-gods gave him to me in 20 warps! But now I think, what kind of preservation unit will be next? Aventurine is the king of shields, mihoyo won't change that and he gives effect res... so what else is there for preservation? Cleanse? Damage mitigation (Fu Xuan has that already)? Stat buffs? Maybe some kind of 'Thorns', the enemy takes damage for attacking?
Mihoyo must be careful not to blur the lines between Preservation, Abundance and Harmony too much.

5:46 true!! I swear people sleep on her, against Aventurine she literally denies his imprisonment during the gambling turn, she instantly cleanses and throw all of that turn damage out the window, and this scenario happens with other bosses.

Huehue can't be S+ tier because she has significantly less comfort and tankiness than the preservation units. I can't really think of her as a full tier above Luocha, though there is a consideration that huehue is really good in the kafka swan team

Ive been experimenting and genuinely believe that Pela, with the Resolution Shines As Pearls Of Sweat Light Cone becomes at least S for Acheron teams. Skill point battery using her normals that can now get another stack for Acheron on top of her own Ult? Yes, this is very very good.

Blade just needs support for its name, if the Penacony story ends around 2.3 and we have our Trailblaze Continuance Quest in XianZhou, we might see support made for him
