How to Plant Ranunculus Corms 🌼
Growing Ranunculus (Persian buttercup) is really easy! These brilliant flowers produce stunning rose-like clustered blooms and are a great cut flower.
Ranunculus corms can be planted in Autumn if you live in a mild climate or from January to April for blooms around June time. These can be grown either in containers like me or in the ground.
Only a couple of steps to stunning blooms:
1) Soak your Ranunculus in cold water for 2 hours prior to planting
2) Space 5cm apart and plant 10cm deep
3) The roots (pointy end) go at the bottom
4) Top up with a regular multi-purpose compost and water well
5) Place in a full sun area and you should have blooms in around the end of Spring
Make sure you select a container with a drainage hole and protect from frosts!
