Members Reviews:
Shallow and Dull.
What disappointed you about Ricky Gervais?
First half reads like an embellished Wikipedia entry. Second half reads like a 14-year-old recapping the plot of every episode of The Office. Boo. I'm sure Ricky Gervais' life is much more interesting than this book.
What could Michael Heatley have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Dive deeper. More anecdotes, details and stories. Less recaps of The Office episodes.
How could the performance have been better?
The performance is too monotone. More inflection.
Poor boring book
A very short, boring, unfunny book. A big disappointment. It is just like a historical relating of Gervis?s life and a resumen of the plot of each episode of The Office and Extras.
Very bad. The audio is very boring, no life or interest.
