Hi quick question my back break I can’t get it to lock up can I put isopropyl alcohol directly in the caliber when the pad are in there or could that damage it

Most digital calipers I've tried share a common design flaw. They continue to draw current after you press the OFF button. OFF is more like STANDBY. You must remove the battery between uses or it will drain in the case.
Do the Park Tool calipers have have this problem as well?
