What is acute coronary syndrome? Acute coronary syndrome, or ACS, is one of the can’t-miss-diagnoses that must be ruled out when a patient presents with acute chest pain. ACS is caused by sudden decreased coronary blood flow, also known as cardiac ischemia.

My hospital always just had us draw cardiac enzymes with any chest pain patient. Usually a series of 3 unless the first 2 were negative.

Yeaaah I aint falling for that cis/trans stuff. We are talking medicine here, with biology and anatomy involved. I understand the HRT stuff going on, but estrogen is hardly anything of many factors that make up a biological woman. I am sure even men sometimes don't have chest pain when presenting with ACS. Otherwise, incredible presentation!
