figured out that windows auto-updated and changed all of my audio routing settings so it was piping through zero "system" sound and nothing registered in the original recording. but, after finally fixing my settings i was able to rerecord the replays and manually sync them up with the original video so SAVED NO PANIC BIG GOURD
