Very surprised this isn't immediately blocked as YouTube thinks this is five songs rather than one suite...as does just about everywhere else, but hey, I always love stringing videos together. Part 2 took us the longest and Part 4 was the only one we had keys on for some reason. Otherwise, sit back and emjoi and watch out for more Haken down the pipe!

This was certainly one of the more enjoyable things we've done RGH wise for me. The upside of prog metal esque fubs is the fun rhythms and sections spread out, with the downside usually being length that makes it harder to rope people in for. But with a song divided like this the downside was completely eliminated! Still not easy fubs, I'd say all parts have tricky sections for all outside of Part 1, but that one is my favorite musically anyway. What I really like with most Haken songs I know is that the non instrumental sections actually have melodies that shine, and don't act like just filler until you get to the instrumental jerkoffs, which are also not bad at all. In fact some of their songs are almost poppy with their vocal hooks which to some might be offputting but to me is a huge upside.
Anyway, cool stuff here with satisfying results, ty friends for pulling in.

i wish prog metal heads weren't so hook-averse. a good hook will make me replay a song more often than instrumental prowess
